PIERRE RAGUES CONTINUES TO RUN STRONGLY FOR G-DRIVE BY SIGNATECH-NISSAN AS LMP2 PODIUM INTENSIFIES Photo News Pierre Ragues and G-Drive by Signatech-Nissan have had a competitive night and early morning as the Le Mans 24 Hours continues into the final quarter of the race. Pierre handed over the #26 car to Roman Rusinov in third place in LMP2.

Ragues, at the wheel of the #26 Oreca 03 Nissan, took over from Nelson Panciatici at midnight and enjoyed a trouble-free quadruple stint, handing over to Roman Rusinov at the race’s halfway point with the team occupying a podium place in LMP2 and a top ten position overall.

As morning dawned on Le Mans, the team’s fight for a class podium continued with Pierre returning to driving duties at 7.30am for a triple stint. The Frenchman continued to fight in the top 12 overall and is embroiled in a close fight for the LMP2 podium places.

Pierre said: “My quadruple stint last night went very well and I was pleased with the performance of the G Drive by Signatech Nissan Oreca 03. It’s always amazing to drive in night-time conditions at Le Mans. I was happy with our progress through the night which has seen us in the middle of an exciting battle for the LMP2 podium. My triple stint this morning was also trouble-free and the team has continued to do an exceptional job to make sure our pit stops are smooth and the car is running reliably.”
