PIERRE RAGUES SOAKS UP THE LE MANS ATMOSPHERE AT DRIVERS’ PARADE Photo News
The 24 Hours of Le Mans gets underway tomorrow afternoon but although there was no track action today, French endurance racer Pierre Ragues joined the other drivers in some of the traditional pre-race activities.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the famous drivers’ parade through Le Mans centre in front of thousands of fans who lined the streets. Early rain cleared to leave cloudy but blue skies for the parade as Pierre joined his TEAM SARD Morand colleagues Oliver Webb and Zoel Amberg at the parade.

Pierre said: “It was great to be part of this evening’s parade and to feel the support from the many thousands of fans who come to Le Mans. We have a big two days coming up with the main race starting tomorrow afternoon, so this was a nice appetiser. We’ve been building up to this moment for so long, now it’s time to go racing!”

The next target for Pierre is the 45-minute warm-up session tomorrow morning, the final preparations for the 83rd running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
