PIERRE RAGUES SET FOR SIGNATECH-ALPINE KARTING CLASSIC Photo News
This weekend, French racer Pierre Ragues is set to join the traditional 12-hour karting extravaganza, organised by the Signatech-Alpine Matmut team, with whom he contested rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship earlier this season.

The classic event, the Tour d’Horloge, which has been running for over 25 years, is a unique way for the team to involve their partners and thank them for invaluable support during the season.

Pierre, who claimed a podium result with the team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans earlier this year, will line up for the 12-hour karting event this weekend alongside representatives of the team’s partners. They will contest the race at the Circuit International de Karting at Le Mans, which will evoke memories from the iconic endurance race.

Pierre said: “The Signatech-Alpine Matmut 12 hour karting event is a tradition, and one which I am honoured to be part of this year. I have had the pleasure of taking part before and it’s genuinely a privilege. It is a really special way to involve all of the partners, who have supported the team throughout the season, and from a driving perspective it is a lot of fun. I am particularly grateful for the continued and unwavering support from my own loyal partners, so this will be a great opportunity for me to give something back and share some emotions with them. From midnight on Friday through to midday on Saturday, we will be sharing the karting track at Le Mans, which will be particularly poignant after we scored a podium finish there earlier this year. I can’t wait!”
