The countdown is on! Le Mans week began in earnest for Pierre Ragues and the Signatech Alpine Matmut on Monday with the traditional administrative checks and scrutineering at Place de la République.

The crew of the #35 Alpine A470 – Pierre and his team-mates Nelson Panciatici and André Negrão – also took part in a pre-event photo with the rest of the team, including the #36 crew.

The #35 Alpine A470 underwent its scrutineering at 13:30 on Monday afternoon with thousands of fans gathering to see their endurance heroes up close. There were plenty of selfies and signatures under sunny Le Mans skies.

The 85th running of the prestigious Le Mans event will take place from Saturday to Sunday 3pm. Free practice will get underway on Wednesday with three qualifying practices scheduled, including the all important night sessions.
