PIERRE MEETS THE FANS AT DRIVERS’ PARADE Photo News
On the eve of the 84th running of Le Mans 24 Hours, Pierre Ragues and his Larbre Competition team-mates Yutaka Yamagishi and Jean-Philippe Belloc took part in the traditional drivers’ parade in downtown Le Mans.

The event gives fans the chance to see their heroes up close on the evening before the 24-hour race gets underway. Plenty of autographs were signed, lots of photos were taken and it was a special memory for the drivers and the fans alike.

For Pierre, the drivers’ parade is one of the highlights of the Le Mans week, and today’s meet and greet with the fans more than met expectations.

“I love this part of the race week,” said Pierre. “It gives us the chance to meet the fans who turn out to give us such fantastic support each and every year. There was a bit of rain towards the end, but we’ve become used to that this week – and it definitely didn’t spoil our enjoyment. As drivers, we spend a lot of time preparing the car and doing what we do, which is driving. So, to have the chance to get up close to the fans, to sign autographs, take selfies, and have a bit of fun is a great way to build up to the race.”
