31 year old French racer Pierre Ragues made an immediate switch from last weekend’s Rallye de la Côte Fleurie into endurance mode as he joined TEAM SARD MORAND at the Aragon circuit in Spain on Sunday evening.

Ragues, who will contest the entire FIA World Endurance Championship in LMP2 with the team in 2015, is undertaking a two day test at the Spanish track on Monday and Tuesday in preparation for the new WEC season.

The French ace completed over 50 laps on Monday, contributing to the team’s total of 120 laps. This week’s test is the first opportunity for Ragues to get acclimatised with his Dunlop-shod Morgan LMP2 car alongside his new team-mates Oliver Webb and Tristan Vautier.

The private test day was focussed on tyre evaluation with Dunlop and car set-up, benefitting from the pleasant Spanish weather. Ragues will return to the car for the final day of the test on Tuesday.
