Sparco supported rally driver Paolo Andreucci has claimed the prestigious Italian rally championship title after winning the 32nd running of Rally due Valli at the weekend.

 

The Italian rally star piloted his Peugeot 208 T16 to the win alongside co-driver Anna Andreussi to take the ‘tricolore’ in style. 

 

Sparco has long backed the career of the now eight-time champion and is honoured to be associated with the most successful driver in the history of Italian rally.

 

Sparco has a unique relationship with Andreucci which adds to the importance and prestige of this latest success for the Italian racewear company. 

 

Not only does Andreucci wear Sparco overalls, he also uses a Sparco helmet, and always requests his overalls two sizes larger than his frame so that he can incorporate a special cushion layer when he is driving to cool himself down. Effectively using the overall like a refrigerator, he benefits from the comfort of the Sparco suit but with added benefits to cope with heat.
