SPARCO SHOWS ITS SUPPORT FOR RESTOS DU COEUR AT 24 HOURS OF LE MANS
Sparco, the international motorsport race wear specialists, is using its presence at this weekend’s 24 Hours of Le Mans to shows its support for the French charity Restaurants du Coeur (Restos du Coeur).
Sparco is selling a range of its company t-shirts signed by Alpine drivers Nelson Panciatici, Paul-Loup Chatin and Oliver Webb through the Alpine Boutique at the Circuit de la Sarthe with all proceeds being donated to the Restos du Coeur charity.
The French charity, whose main activity is to distribute food parcels to those in need, was founded by comedian Coluche in 1985, and it is a charity close to the heart of Sparco CEO Claudio Pastoris.
He said: “It is a pleasure to be using our activities in one of the world’s most popular and celebrated motorsport events, the Le Mans 24 Hours, to help one of France’s finest charities, Restos du Coeur. I was on a business trip last year when I had the chance to witness a performance by Les Enfoirés in aid of the Restos du Coeur. I was able to learn more about the fantastic work done by this charity and I felt that it was a fitting initiative for Sparco to support at Le Mans. We are working with our partners Signatech-Alpine to sell these t-shirts with all proceeds going to Restos du Coeur.”
