ELMS CHAMPION PIERRE RAGUES CELEBRATES 2013 IN STYLE AT SIGNATECH 24 HOURS Photo News
Fresh from clinching the 2013 European Le Mans Series title in spectacular fashion at Paul Ricard, Pierre Ragues rejoined his Signatech-Alpine team colleagues last weekend at the fifth Signatech 24 Hours karting event, which was the 23rd hosting of this traditional event for Signature Racing.

32 teams and a total of  237 drivers took part in the competitive event, which was won for the third year running by Xteam, although Pierre and Team Ragues came in a creditable 12th place overall. Team partners Alpine, Bahco, Total, Indenticar, D&P and Club Signature also joined in the fun.

Teams completed close to 800 laps of the Sologne karting track, the Circuit International de Salbris, and celebrated in fitting style after the impressive championship winning 2013 season, returning the Signatech and Alpine names to endurance success.

Pierre Ragues said: “The Signatech 24 Hours is now a traditional way to end our season but this year was more fitting than ever after our ELMS success. It was a pleasure to enjoy a fun event, although with the usual high levels of competition as you would expect with over 200 drivers and 32 teams! Team Ragues did well to come in the top 12 but it was all about sharing our success and reflecting on the season with our team partners. Let’s hope 2014 is just as triumphant.”
