PIERRE RAGUES VISITS ALPINE FACTORY IN DIEPPE Photo News
Fresh from his second place at last weekend’s 3 Hours of Red Bull Ring, Pierre Ragues made a special visit to the Alpine factory in Dieppe today.

Joined by his Signatech-Alpine team-mate Nelson Panciatici and team boss Philippe Sinault, Pierre made the most of his trip to the legendary Alpine factory to meet with workers and mark the return of the Alpine brand to endurance racing this season.

While chatting to staff and touring the impressive facility, Pierre also signed some bodywork from the 1978 Le Mans winning Alpine car, which will now adorn the factory proudly.

Signatech-Alpine has enjoyed an impressive 2013 campaign so far with a fourth place and two second place podium finishes, which sees the team lying second in the European Le Mans Series classification heading into the summer break, with two races of the season remaining.

Pierre commented: “It was a privilege for me to visit the very special Alpine factory in Dieppe today together with Nelson and Philippe.  It was incredible to feel the heritage of the brand and to feel part of such an iconic motoring name. We had the chance to share our recent podium successes with the Alpine employees and it was good to give something back. We now head into the summer more motivated than ever to finish the season on a high when we resume in September.”
