PIERRE RAGUES MAKES HIMSELF COMFORTABLE AT OAK RACING
French sport car racer Pierre Ragues has started to get comfortable in his new home for 2011 after having his first seat fitting of the season at OAK Racing’s factory in Le Mans last weekend.
Pierre is looking forward to contesting the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) with his old team this season. The series gets underway at Sebring in mid-March and takes in a number of legendary circuits and events, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.
Pierre said: “OAK Racing is already like an extended family to me, so it is natural that I visit the Le Mans facility as often as I can. Last weekend’s visit was for me to have a seat fitting for the car that we will contest the ILMC in this season. The start of the series is fast approaching now and just having a seat fitting gets me really excited about the racing season.”
Pierre’s first test with OAK will take place in early February at the Vallelunga circuit.
